After 2 weeks off and spending really good times with family and friends I am back at life "as usual". Groundhog day continues.
What's really on my mind is a book I am reading at the moment. It's called
*2 an einem Tag*.
It's about woman (Emma) and man (Derek) who have met in their early 20s and started a friendship that includes the pact, that, wherever they will meet up again in 20 years and if they're still singles, they'll get married. This book follows their 2 lifes over those 20 years of crappy jobs, unsatisfying relationships on both sides and always the friend of the past in mind.
I haven't read it to end yet, because I really couldn't handle a non-happy ending.
But both characters are just written so heartbreaking real that it's a real joy reading it. And sometimes tears show up in my face when I can compare to situations they're struggling with.
It's a wonderful book.
Beside reading I got closer to my mum.
We spent time in Frankfurt together. Just us.
Waiting for Matteo to come online...so...if you read this...come online for a chat!
