I had a great start. I got a warm welcome at the "Muccy" from all people working with me there. Not only from the front desk department. :-) We walked through the hotel and I shaked each hand which was offered to say "Hi".
Really nice welcome...made me feel more comfortable right away.
I got so much input today. The computer system we're working with is complicate. But I am not scared. At least I'm not stupid and I am sure I'll be fine in a few days as soon as I get the chance to work with it right in front of the guests.
Housekeeping works well too. Another unknown experience!
To celebrate my first day and because we deserved to have a great evening Jack invited me to have dinner. I chose RUBICO, a nice and well known restaurant in Klenzestrasse. Definitely worth each euro. The food was delicious and absolutely great. So was the interior, too.
We spend almost 3 hours in there with tasty food and fine wine.
I ordered a taxi to bring my injured man with the crutches home to his appartment because the aperitif and the wine had me feeling a bit too good to drive us home.
So the car is waiting for me in the garage. No worries, I'll be there tomorrow anyway.
Lateshift at muccy. And I am looking forward to it like someone who is expecting really really good christmas presents! :-)
I wanna go there again and I am allowed to!
I'll continue writing about my new job, so keep an eye on it the next few days.
